Swimming and Diving Events

It was a cold rainy day for Swimming and Diving Events.  It started raining right about the time the first race started and kept going throughout the whole thing.  Jen and I were the timers for the event and kept everything moving pretty quickly so we could get back to dry land!

 It stopped raining for a short period of time, long enough to hold diving events.

Lucy really wanted to see Wicked when they came out east this summer and it just worked out that Josie got in on the trip too.  Geema and geempa were supposed to take them in to the city for the show and then to spend the night at their apartment.  Unfortunately for geempa he was sick and unable to go. Fortunately for me, I got to go!!!  We had a great time cruising around the city, the show was amazing. Everyone had a great time.

Children's Song Service and some weed picking

It was another great Children's Song Service this year.  The theme was "rainy days" and everyone did a great job coming up with fun rainy day things to do.  Josie and Charlotte co-led the evening and both did very well.  As always, everyone was really cute.

Josie was sent on a special mission to pick more weeds.  They needed someone light who could float above some very shallow water on a raft.  It so happens that Josie fit the bill and loves to pick the weeds from the end of the lake.

Triathlon #2

The second triathlon the girls did this summer was at Lake Valhalla.  A much nicer day than that cold rainy day of the Morristown tri.  Another great day on the race course.

Of course a trip to Dunkin' Donuts was in order after all that hard work!

It was a beautiful day for Water Events.  There were tons of people and everyone had a great time.  Tilly decided to compete with the 6 and unders this time.  I think it had something to do with the lollipops they collect :)

Family Reunion

We had our family reunion this summer in Cranberry Lake, NJ.  It was beautiful.  The rain stopped for a while which allowed us to take a long walk around the lake, play a little soccer and take a boat ride.
