Not quite dinner

So, John went to a wedding last weekend and he helped me out by getting dinner for the kids. This is the first time they have ever seen such a meal. It was really exciting. Right up until the time when the food touched their tongue. Then it was kind of a let down.
Henry did end up eating nearly all of his Salisbury Steak. Mae was not too impressed by the turkey and gravy, it was "rubbery" ,although she liked the cranberry-apple dessert. Lucy ate a few noodles from hers, I can't remember what it was called. She ate both her brownie and Henry's.
I'm not sure we'll ever do these again. But it was entertaining for one night. And easy.
