School!

Yay! The first day of school. Everyone was ready to go. Both Henry and Mae have the same teachers as they did last year (mixed classes k-1 and 2-3), so they were not at all worried about going back. As much as we all love summer, the school year is much less stressful for us working parents. I am much more calm knowing that my kids are in a place where everyone knows and loves them every day. Dropping them off at a different camp every week left me feeling quite uneasy.

Lucy has a new teacher this year, but it is someone who has been at the preschool for years so they are very familiar with each other. There was no hesitation on her first day back. The owner/director of her preschool gave out buttons awhile back that read "I am here today because I have quality childcare". I read my button every day that I am at work. I will always be so thankful that we were able to find such wonderful people to care for and teach our children.
