I'm pretty excited to be at a ball game myself.
At this point, we were happy to be off the bus. I don't think they knew they were in store for another 2.5 hours of sitting. After we got food, heard the National Anthem and started to watch the game they asked if we could do something else, this was boring. It was only the first inning. I got a little worried. So we walked around for a while. Looked at the gift shops. Had some lunch.

These were wheelchair access seats, not ours, but they were in the shade and had a pretty good view of most of the field. The crack of the bat was incredible. You could even hear the ball hitting the gloves of the players. So awesome.
They begged me to get them each a cotton candy. I said, "NO WAY!" And, in fact, together they could not finish one. But it was a fun first experience with this magical sweet.
Later on, after wandering the stadium, buying stuff (this hat for Mae and a stuffed monkey (?) for Henry) we made it up to our seats which were 10 rows from the top of the stadium. It was also in the shade and had better view of the entire field, but very high up. It was about the 6th inning and the kids were pretty content to sit and watch the rest of the game. Yay! Fortunately, it was a pretty quick game. AND there were 2 home runs, which at Angel Stadium means fireworks. Very exciting. A wonderful way to spend a Sunday. Thank you Map Link!
