Did any of you have this game? You can learn more about it
here. Henry's teacher has one in his classroom and the kids love it. So last weekend we agreed to buy one. Trouble is, they don't make it anymore (they do make
this, but it wasn't at the store we went to, thankfully). Where do you go when something isn't made anymore but you gotta have it???
Ebay. They have everything and more. And this Ebay experience was incredibly exciting. The bidding opened at $9.99. I started bidding with only 1 hour left and only 1 previous bid. Things were looking good. I patiently watched for the next 58 minutes and we were in the lead the entire time. Then, with one minute left, someone jumped in and outbid me. Yikes! I had to act fast. Thanks to John (who has some Ebay experience under his belt) we got in one final bid. AND WE WON! We ended up paying $18.55. Now, I have no idea how much these were new, or how much other Ebay auctions have sold them for. Doesn't matter. We won. It was an epic, thrilling victory. We were all jumping around the living room, high-fiving one another. Team Hancock rocks!

I love these things. How do the kids do with it? Have they figured it out yet? Our friends Jen & Larry used to have one. It's a blast! Nice job on the ebay victory.
They play it much better than I do. Mae has the high score right now.
