Not really fall

You might think by looking at this picture that fall has arrived and the leaves are all changing. I think I mentioned that we even had lows in the 40's last week.Well this leaf is changing but... NOPE! It was 89 degrees here yesterday. This is the neighbor's Sycamore tree, the only tree on our street that changes colors. And it is one of only 4 on the block that drops its leaves. So this tree is our season beacon, to the extent that we have seasons. It must be so confused.
It is not 89 today. I think it only hit 78. But smoothies on the porch were still in order!

Irresistible.
