So, its about 6:00pm on Easter Sunday and we're about to sit down to dinner. This unlucky kid slipped off the retaining wall in our driveway and landed on the concrete four and a half feet below.
It was a long night. 3 hours in the emergency room ending with a soft cast and then many hours awake in pain, the poor guy.
Today he got this lovely green hard cast. I guess he didn't really break the radius (luckily no tiny wrist bones were involved) but he definitely creased it.
Look how well it goes with his new bedroom colors (and his eyes).

Hopefully this won't mean the end of baseball season (we've just started a two week spring break with no games or practices), but he will miss some of it.

Henry - bummer about the arm. but the green really does look good with your eyes. it looks like the beginning of the day was awesome. hope you're feeling better soon. - Jil
