Isn't this just beautiful. This is two packages of colored wool from Weir Crafts. Just what we needed to get felting. Mae got one package for her birthday and then we decided we needed more colors.
Mae is the one who inspired this leap into a new (to us) craft. She made the cutest little mouse at school one day. I forgot to take a picture of that, but here are some of the other things we've made.
Mae and I each made a cardinal, not sure whose this one is.
This is a pile of scrap felt that came from school. Perfect for beginners like us.
Two of these are mine and two are by Mae. I've been wearing them all in my hair.
And finally, the cutest little guys yet. Mae and I made the cat together, but the penguin was 100% her.
