Last Thursday, I went to LA's Chinatown with Mae's class. We took the train down, which was an adventure all in its own. Picture 50 kids (a 4-5th grade class went, too) and 35 parents in an Amtrak car. It was tons of fun!

We had lunch (all 85 of us) at a Chinese restaurant then shopped a bit. Exhausted (we left the house at 6:15am that morning) we jumped on a bus and headed for home. What a fabulous day.
