Easter fun

Our Easter weekend was filled with baseball, chocolate, eggs, taxes, pecan-sticky buns, tea and a quietly celebrated 11th anniversary. Thanks to everyone for their good wishes. It was a lovely weekend. All these flowers came from seed (from last year). I really like them, but they're taking up valuable squash and tomato space. I hope they finish blooming soon so I can pull 'em out. Henry is looking for eggs, but I don't think he found any back there.
These guys had waaaaay too much sugar on Easter morning. Fortunately, I only took pictures of the sugar high, not the crash that came a few hours later.

Lucy and her basket.

This was part of the sugar problem. Two plates of pecan sticky buns. They were amazing, I'm glad I doubled the recipe.

Yes, my pictures are not in the correct order. Again. Here we are decorating eggs on Saturday night. I love all those bowls of color.

Most of the eggs in this picture are plastic (and filled with yummy goodness), but that bottom right blue one is a real hard-boiled egg colored by red cabbage. I really like the way it turned out.

A tricky hiding spot (on top of the monkey bars), at least for those people under 5'9".

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.
