First of all, I want to thank everyone who sent cards, emails, presents, thoughts, songs, whatever to me yesterday. I love how many of you couldn't believe I was forty because you are only forty. It's great that you all are so young, it will keep us all young, too.
Look at how into my presents the kids are.
A darn good coconut cake with lemon curd and light cream cheese frosting (light meaning airier with heavy cream whipped in, not 'lite' as in low calorie or low in fat).
I did blow out all (not 40) the candles.
And these sweet kids made my day wonderful with hugs, smiles, party planning, cards and love.
