Soccer and Skatebording

This weekend Isabel's Rec Soccer team played in an 8 vs. 8 tournament comprised of Club level players. What that means is that they played agains teams that have been together for 7 months instead of 2 and play at a more competitive level. Isabel's team struggled a little in the win column (they didn't win any) but they played their hearts out and had fun. Isabel is now deciding if she wants to stick with Rec Soccer of move up and play on a club team. We'll keep you posted...
Hmmmm....where and how to seguay into skatboarding...today we went down to talk to one of our neighbors about Pancho. The woman is a Vet Technician and we asked her if she would come look at Pancho because he wasn't putting any weight on his back right leg and he has been lying around for the past day or two not being his usually spunky self. She came down to the house and determined there wasn't any cut or abcess but it does look like something is going on, perhaps a dislocated hip. We are going to bring him in to the Vet tomorrow. How does this tie in with skatboarding you ask, well...it turns out that her husband has a half pipe skate ramp in his garage. We checked it out and he said we could use it all we want. Chance and Isabel skated for a while. The rest of the neighborhood came by to hang out and check out the "cool new skate ramp". It was really fun and they are great people. I will keep you posted on Pancho.
