We got to Cape Cod on Monday afternoon. We are staying with Chris & Virginia (and Gus and Faye) in Falmouth. The first afternoon we were here we took a little walk down to a local beach, a good way to get the wiggles out from sitting in the car. Day 2 was a pretty big day, we watched one of the ships, the Cramer, from the SEA program come in to port. We also got a chance to get on the boat and look around. After that the girls and I headed to a horse barn we heard was a good place to just look around and spend a little time. It worked out perfectly. As we were getting there so was a girl who just graduated from high school and she was getting ready to ride a pony. The girls helped her get the pony ready, watched her ride and helped clean the pony up. After she finished riding she asked me if the girls could have a ride so I ran to the car, got their bike helmets and put them on the pony. After that girl left we met up with a woman who was cleaning stalls and the girls wanted to do that too. They mucked an entire stall by themselves (and it was very messy, 2 wheelbarrows worth of poop). All in all we spent almost 2 hours at the barn. After coming home for a quick lunch we were off to the beach -
