Mae had the idea to make a softie this weekend so she drew a picture of this guy and ta-da, here he is.
Not sure why his name is Fredbert, but I think it fits. The body is a microfleece pillowcase, the eyes are felt and embroidery thread, and the hair is yarn.
We had our first soccer games this weekend, both at 8am (earlier than school, hence the still asleep look). Henry is on the Hairy Mad Dogs.
Mae didn't want to sleep in her uniform so she set it out the night before. Her team is the Pumas. So far so good for both of them, although I'm already a little tired of 4 practices and 2 games each week. Are there enough days for all that ??

Love Fredbert. What a perfect name. Luckily we don't have any 8am games or we would be in trouble. We do have 2 this weekend at the same time - different locations.
