As promised, our mud and dirt......

I'm not sure if you all know this or not, but our back yard was, as near as we can tell, used as a dump by the previous owners. I could go on and on about what we have pulled out (a bathtub, an rv chassis, a tv, shoes) of the dirt. This new gem started showing itself last summer. Just a flat bit of metal poking up above the lawn. We ignored it until this winter when wet weather revealed just a bit more than we cared to see.
So, we dug it up. Big hole, big shovels, little shovels, straps, ropes and the come-along (scroll down a bit).
Finally, we pulled it out. Yes, it is an old engine. Not light. Not pretty. Now what?
Can anyone identify this beauty? Grandpa Jack?
::
We couldn't think of anything to do with it, so guess what?
::
We dug the hole bigger and re-buried it. And that is dirt, mud and love on Valentine's Day.

Hope you don't find any bones.

We did, but not related to us or our pets. I think a small dog from the previous owner. We reburied it, too.
