So, you know how I complained all summer long about the weather?!? Well, guess what? YES, the two hottest days of the year were the first and second days of school. Seriously? Seriously.Above is the last vacation day. They were trying out their new backpacks.
Heading off to school.No, not really. We can't even walk to our school, let alone beach walk to it.
Everyone was truly happy to be heading back to school. Lucy and Mae are both with teachers they have had before and love. Henry is excited to be back with friends. Lucy did not want to be part of this picture, hence the gloomy look.::
I am pretty happy to have some time to myself again, although I will be working more this year.
We'll see how it goes. Sunny weather plus busy kids equals happy mom!
