North

We headed up to Oregon for Thanksgiving this year in our new van, and with in the first hour we saw a rainbow. A good sign. Better than the lightning we saw the night before.
Everyone was pretty happy to be together and on the road. Good thing because we were on the road a lot. It is a long drive made much longer by snow. I'll post more about that later.
We saw this zonkey on the way. We also saw a camel, strange.
The lighting was beautiful here, northeast of Fresno. We took the long way and visited Gold Country.
Happy cows.
Lucy sang out 'mmmoo-moo cows' each time she saw a cow. And we saw a lot, but it didn't get old, it just got funnier.

Looks like you had fun. Hope the snow wasn't too bad.

I'll put up some snow pictures soon. It wasn't bad, but it was plentiful.
