As soon as we got back from the lake, Mae, Henry and John went to San Diego for a softball tournament. It was the California State games, a pretty big production. Opening ceremonies were in Qualcomm Stadium! Lucy and I stayed home and had a great time! We met friends at the carousel. 
We went on a long (6 mile) bike ride to the bird refuge and beach.
We went to the Fiesta/Old Spanish Days parade.
There were a lot of horses, I think the most in any parade in America. Good thing Lucy likes horses and everyone else was out of town.
