A few, maybe as many as 6, years ago we spit out some loquat seeds into our front yard. A tree started growing and it grew fast, however, year after year, no fruit. We thought about cutting it down many times, but just couldn't bring ourselves to do it.
Finally, this year, we've got fruit!!! Loquats are goooood. Tart, yet sweet. Kind of pineapple-mango-ish. Mae is more than happy to get right in there and pick us some.
