A smokin' beachy bathtub

On Thursday evening, we went to a local park to eat dinner while a band played. The entire evening gets mixed reviews. The band was okay. They were billed as playing music that "uses bluegrass as a jumping off point." I'm afraid they've jumped pretty far. There was no banjo! But there was cool dobro. Dinner was quite good, take-out burritos. The air quality was awful due to the Zaca Fire. This was the first day that smoke came directly into Santa Barbara. We still managed to enjoy the evening.
We spotted this cool celebrity and were able to take her picture. For those of you who know Mae, you know that isn't easy.

Henry seemed to be having a pretty good time. The worst part of the evening was Lucy puking all over herself and John. I didn't get a picture of that.

She recovered and had a blast boogie jumping at the beach. Notice the blue sky. We are all grateful that there was no smoke today. This is how it looks most days.

Mae jumped the waves.

Henry boogie boarded the waves.

And check out the size of our new bathtub. We might just get waves in there! See how my legs aren't bent? And see how my arms would be under water? I can't wait to take a bath.

Wait! I want to come take a bath, too! Why do they make bathtubs only a child of 2 can fit in! What a great purchase. And I'll be over as soon as you have the water hooked up.
