Fall garden

There is not a lot growing in the garden right now, but today I found a few spots of real color and life. The hue is a bit off due the smoke, but I think it actually makes everything look a bit richer.

A rogue sweet pea from last years fallen seed pods growing among the dying green beans.

We only have one week left until Halloween. I don't think this pumpkin will be completely orange by then, but we'll pick it and carve it and perhaps make a pie or something anyway.
