We had an amazing Saturday. It started out with an exciting come from behind soccer win. Then we drove north a bit and biked along the ocean.
There is a terrific bike path that runs from
Refugio State Beach to
El Capitan Beach State Park. We did not have the best weather, it was really foggy and pretty cold. But a fun time was had by all and there were a lot of us. Six bikes! Grandpa Dave and Grandma Carol are here for the weekend.
Lucy has a sweet perch on the front of John's bike.
At the end of our ride we stopped for lunch, cliff climbing and wading.
It was not nearly as warm as Mae makes it look. The rest of us had sweatshirts and long pants.
And to top it all off, we had a fabulous dinner of grilled salmon, roasted root vegetables, salad and apple crisp with ice cream. It doesn't get any better than that!
