You may wonder how trying to get organized can lead to Lemon Raspberry Muffins. It's simple really. When the rest of your life is out of control, find something messy and organize it so you feel like you are in control of something. Today I decided to go through an old recipe folder that I think may actually be my mom's. I came across this recipe and thought to my self, "that sounds like something Wendy would make...I would love...and eat them all in one day." Plan A called for ripping out the recipe and sending it to Wendy with a self-addressed FedEx package. Instead I went with plan B and headed for the grocery store. Turns out all I needed to buy for the recipe was lemons and raspberries, I had everything else. I am really happy with how they turned out. Isabel loves them which automatically means that Josie doesn't. Oh well, more for me. The powdered sugar on top was my addition to the recipe. I think it cuts the tartness of the lemon. Either way...yummy!Oh yeah, and I have some pretty cute kids to show off!

How did you get the muffins to be different sizes? They look really yummy. I had planned on making something very similar yesterday, but time ran out. Maybe today.
I am not very good a putting an equal amount of filling in each muffin tin, that's why the different sizes.
