Bead ornaments

I can't remember why we pulled out the huge tin of beads, but it was a good thing we did. The kids went bead-ornament crazy. The key is having lots of pretty beads and some fairly thin wire. Henry made most of the spirals and all the bracelet shaped ones.
This one might be mine.

This one is definitely mine.

Everyone's.

The fancy long one was created by Mae. It is my favorite I think. They all look so festive and sparkly in the window.

(blogger is having trouble opening pictures, hopefully this will be fixed soon, but for now I don't think you can click on a picture to see it bigger-sorry)

I am still able to see a big version of the picture by clicking on it. Not sure what is happening on your end. Love the beads. I can't imagine doing that with Matilda this year. Glad to see Henry has some good reading - Go Matilda!!!

I can see big pictures now, but only in today's post, not yesterday or the few days before. Beading with toddlers is not fun unless the beads are huge and wooden. Mae brought home two Magic Tree House books today. Hello again Jack and Annie.

Since I am reeding the Josefina books we haven't read much Magic Treehouse lately, Goodbye Jack and Annie. Have you read Owl Moon? SouleMama suggested it - it is great.

We got Owl Moon from the library a while back. It is great. I'd never heard of the Josefina books before seeing them here. Are they good?
