Gingerbread Cookies

I guess I could have cut out more house pieces, but I opted for cookies instead. I'm glad I did. Decorating a cookies is much more satisfying (and do-able) for our family. We made far fewer cookies this year than in previous years, so the decorating was finished in about 1 hour. Perfect.

We kept the decorating pretty simple. Three colors of icing plus a few types of sprinkles.

Everyone participated.

Even John made a few.

This plate no longer looks like this. They're all gone. Yummy!
