Winter Wonderland::Part 2

On Sunday we headed to the beach to check out one of the lowest tides of the year. It was spectacular. These rocks are normally under water, however they were not slippery (or very sharp). We spent hours checking out all the nooks, crannies and tide pools.
Lucy spent a lot of time picking up and then rolling a found golf ball (one of 5).
Henry and Mae kept yelling to me, "Mom, look at this!" "Mom, over here!" "Mom, this is better than the aquarium!"

As usual, it wasn't as warm as my kids would have you think. Most people, like me, had on a sweatshirt. But it wasn't cold either. When the wind stopped it was around 67 degrees. Very nice. Following are my artsy shots (with very un-artsy captions).

Anemone close up.

Mae's feet.

Mussel close up.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We sure did.
