Friday Night Pizza

I don't feel like we have done much of anything lately, at least nothing blog worthy. Our whole family has been fighting some sort of sickness or other for a few weeks now.
I think everyone is healthy and ready for some fun!
The fun started this past Friday night with the girls creating their own "band". Pretty exciting. As you can see, Tilly got bored with the tambourine pretty quickly. Perhaps she was just feeling the music and flowing with it.
This part is mainly for the Thompson-Voght family. The Kalis family came over for pizza and some fun. They offered to bring something to Alden from us when they come out to visit next month. Josie and Isabel asked if the bird house (see below) could go. I am not sure if that was exactly what they meant, so for now, the bird house stays. We miss you guys, hope Maine is being good to you.

did you guys order out, or make pizza?

One of the good things about the new house is the regular old oven - the first new house had this fancy oven, and I could never really make it work, and it made lousy homemade pizza.

now, back to the old better basic electric oven, my pizza is working just fine.

we ordered. there is a new place off mccaslin and dillon, over by the movie theater. it is really good. a little pricey but good. we didn't order enough, everyone loved it. do you make your own dough? is it hard? or just time consuming?

I do make my own dough. and, lately, I have been experimenting with making my own bread.

Pizza dough is easy. Just time consuming - that is true. You need to be able to make it and then wait the 1 or 1.5 hours it should rise. So, for me it is better as a weekend supper. Make the dough around 4:30, eat around 6:30. something like that.
