We picked up this guitar on Sunday in preparation for Biography Day at their school. Henry is Woody Guthrie today. He read a few books, listened to some music and wrote a report about him (Mae's class doesn't do Biography Day, next year they will). 
Even though this guitar was intended to be a prop for Henry, Mae has not put it down since we got it, despite the fact that it is pretty cheap (from craigslist) and horribly out of tune. She loves it.
It is amazing to see what it does to her. Look at that face!

Oh my gawd! It's Janis Joplin. We'll have to get a band together after I take a few bass lessons.
