Some Saturdays are better than others, this was a really good one (despite the fact that Chance was gone). We started off with some chocolate chip pancakes at home, yummy! Then we hopped on our bikes and rode to downtown Louisville (about half a mile) for the first ever
Louisville Farmers Market. We are so excited about this. To have something like this in our little town is great. It was pretty small this week, I hope it grows as the summer goes on. We got some bread, a loaf of White Tuscon and - I know this will sound terrible but it is really good - a loaf of White Chocolate Lemon. First of all, I am not a big white chocolate fan and second chocolate and fruit (especially citrus fruit) do not mix in my world. With that said, that bread is amazing. I love it. I can't wait for next week! We also picked up some herbs to plant at home (basil, cilantro and rosemary) and some dark chocolate pasta. Again, I know that sounds odd but they convinced me that it is really good. The girls tried some of it uncooked and they all loved it. The vendors suggest cooking it, chilling it and serving it with berries (again not sure about chocolate and fruit) or ice cream. At the Farmers Market we met up with some friends and headed over to the
local playground. While Josie and Matilda made me some Iced Coffee (out of sand and sticks in the sand box), Isabel and her friend Samantha were finding snails in the pond. The day ended with a great trip to the
Erie Community Center for a little swimming and birthday party action (sorry no pictures, 3 kids by myself at the pool didn't allow for much lesiure time).
I'll have to say it was a pretty fun day, let's do it all over again tomorrow :)

A lot of time was spent on the stage they use during the Louisville Street Faire
