This weekend we went to the girls school playground on Sunday afternoon. It was a chilly day, don't worry that has long since past and now it is sunny and 85. We did a little climbing, jumping, swinging, kicking, and all sorts of other good things.

Isabel has been asking me to french braid her hair lately (even before seeing Mae's). I have been getting better and better each time I do it. The first day she said they didn't even stay in until lunch time. I think I now realize that when Wendy was french braiding my hair as a kid she really did need to pull it VERY tightly. I thought she was just saying that since she was the big sisiter and it was just another chance to pull my hair. I now see the reasoning behind it. Sorry for all the complaining over the years Wendy :)

p.s. i still don't know how to get those bottom hairs into the braind and make it look normal, any suggestions?

Just so you know, both Lucy and Mae complain the entire time I am braiding their hair that I am pulling too tightly. However, it is absolutely necessary to pull the hair tight the entire time. You can incorporate the bottom hair in sooner and it looks neater.
I agree and understand now that you need to pull tightly the entire time. ANd luckily, Isabel doesn't complain about it, maybe I am not pulling tightly enough? I will try to pull the bottom hairs in sooner. Thanks.
