Lucy was lucky enough to have Grandma Cindy take her to the barn last week. This horse is named Sandlot (Sandy for short) and was very gentle with my little one.
Lucy looks so comfortable on a horse (unlike me, who looks so very uncomfortable standing anywhere near a horse).
Look at that awesome posture and hand position.
This guy was pretty dusty so they brushed him off.
Then they picked the dirt out of his hooves.

That morning was so pretty; the horse, the coordinating pinks, the view, the distant fog and of course the people. I'll gladly spend 90 minutes at a barn for this!
