We got our tree two weeks ago, early for us, and took our time decorating it and the house. It is quite nice to be a lady of leisure. 
Next to decorating, sugar is the best thing about the holidays. I've made about 5 batches of cookies so far. I've got plans for many more.
These babies turned out great if I do say so myself. Subtle and elegant. And tasty.
These were a little less than perfect looking, but the taste was good and lemony.

I'm not sure what to make next. I've got a bunch of bananas starting to turn brown. Let's see, bcp (banana cream pie for you rookies), banana cake, banana muffins, hmmmmm......
