Weekend in Tucson

So now that I am not working I am finally getting to enjoy the perks of having a pilot in the family. The girls and I flew down to Tucson for the weekend (for free). They had Monday off of school for a teacher in-service day or something like that. We took Tuesday off as well and made it a 4 day weekend. When we left Denver (late Friday night) it was snowing and 24 degrees. On Saturday in Tucson it was 80 and sunny, on Sunday it was 83 and on Monday it got up to 89. Holy cow!!! We did a lot of swimming, none of which got photographed for some reason, a lot of horse back riding and a lot of lounging around. Just what we needed. On top of it all, when we landed in Denver on Tuesday afternoon it was 70 degrees. What more can you ask for? 3 girls who were all asleep by 7:30 tonight :)

my mom has a dress up box at her house. it consists of old haloween costumes and dresses of ours. i believe she is wearing a skirt but it is so big she has it pulled up like a strapless dress. you know you love it.

I made the blue skirt in that same picture about 30 years ago!! Those kids have real style.

I didn't know you made that. Josie loved the fact that it had pockets.
