Yikes. It is only early May and we've got our first wildfire of the season. It started around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon in the foothills above mid-town SB (see map here-we live close to East Beach).
This is the view from the back porch around 7:00pm. We're far enough away from this one that we can't see flames although it was pretty smokey. Hopefully, the winds will cooperate and this fire will not burn close to homes. We are currently not in an evacuation zone, but I've got the list of what to pack very handy just in case.
