Happy Halloween!

Wow, we have had a lot of Halloween fun around here lately. It started Friday with the annual Louisville Elementary School Parade through downtown. We were a little worried it wouldn't happen due to snow days on Wednesday and Thursday. Much of the snow melted and it wasn't anywhere near as cold as they said it would be that morning (it was 45 degrees).
Next came a Halloween party at the barn on Saturday morning. The girls sort of dressed up (I didn't want them to get everything all dirty and stinky for the night). They played games on the horses - carrying an egg on a spoon, relay races stuff like that. It was also a brunch pot luck so I had a chance to make cinnamon rolls again, they went quickly. Finally it was Halloween night. The girls aka Wednesday Addams, Geisha Girl and Super Girl got all dressed and ready and met up with the neighborhood kids. We had a blast trick-or-treating around the hood with 10-12 kids. Tilly was especially into it this year, I think this was her first year she really understood that people would keep giving her candy if she went and rang the doorbell.
