Friday night we had some a few friends over for dinner. It turned out there were more kids than adults, how'd that happen? Anyway, we fed the kids and sent them off to watch a movie. Here they all are (minus Sam) in our bedroom. Who says a queen bed isn't big enough?
Saturday and Sunday Isabel had a soccer tournament in Castle Rock, about an hour away from us. They played a game late Saturday night and then early Sunday morning so the whole team spent the night in a hotel near the fields. Isa had a great time with her team and on the field. The team won! It went to penalty kicks in the finals but Trebol finally prevailed. They have been the runner-up at least twice before at tournaments so it was so fun for them to finally win one.
Today was a BEAUTIFUL day! I can't wait for summer! Although, I am going to have to. It was 68 degrees and sunny here today. I loved it. Shorts, t-shirts, lunch outside, smoothies, raking the snow in my front yard in to the sun so it will finally melt, all the joys of spring in Colorado. But, tomorrow it is only supposed to be 35 and 1-2" of snow. ARGHHH!!! I am sick of the snow. I am ready for summer.
