Thanksgiving Break!

One night over Thanksgiving Break (which is a week long for us) we went up to Frisco to check out Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Bart's new house.  We went up Tuesday and came home Wednesday.  We (Isabel's friend Daisy came with us) had a great time just hanging out.  We went to a glass shop in Frisco that blows the glass right there in the shop.  They let each girl take a turn spinning the glass in the 2000 degrees fire.  Wednesday morning we walked downtown to have breakfast at The Butterhorn Cafe, so yummy!!!  Later in the day we went sledding on a hill near the house.

I'm pretty sure this is the first turkey I have ever made.  We did Thanksgiving a coupe of years ago but Chance was in charge of the turkey then.  Our entire meal came out wonderfully.  Chance got home around 3:30 that day so we were able to have Thanksgiving as a family.

Tucson part II

We were lucky enough to have snow in Tucson. In fact it was snowing up on Mt Lemmon. It was great, we threw snowballs, built a snowman (that Grandpa Bart smashed!), and had hot chocolate. Then we drove back down the mountain and went in the pool!
We went on a lovely walk at sunset after eating a huge delicious Thanksgiving meal.
Hot tub after snow play. Ahhhhh.
If anyone needs a last minute gift idea for me.....a hot tub would be perfect.
This is the previously mentioned sunset. Amazing.

Happy Thanksgiving!

As I work my way through the November pictures, here is a little bit of Thanksgiving. This is the first year Chance and I have made a turkey together. I guess there is something to be said for turning 40. Anyway, Candace worked until about noon and Chance had to leave for work around 5:00pm so we had a window of time to enjoy a fabulous Thanksgiving feast. And fabulous it was.
YUMMY!!!
