Catalog Clean-up

I missed the blogging communities Blog Action Day where bloggers like me (and probably some not at all like me) could post about the environment and how we'd like to save it. It was on October 15th, and for some reason, I did not get around to posting that day. So, I'm making today, October 22nd, my official action day and with that I give you this really cool site; Catalog Choice. Around this time of year, we get inundated with catalogs. Some are great and we place orders. Some are just plain rubbish (well, recycling anyway). This website lets you search their list of catalogs and then unsubscribe to the ones that you don't want. Brilliant. They do want your customer number (found in one of those colored boxes by your address) to properly cancel the correct person, so either save them until you can sit down at your computer or make note of that number.
