Mae's puppy

I've been wanting to do this for quite some time. I took a kid's drawing and turned it into a stuffed animal. Mae spent the afternoon drawing dogs. I spent the afternoon sewing one together. It was pretty easy really. Just cut out the felt, embroider the details, sew (blanket stitch) the edges and stuff.
The result; a child designed personal stuffed animal. We've also played around with making felt ornaments using cookie cutter shapes as seen here. There are so many great ideas and instructions on how to make wonderful holiday goodies around the web. I wish I had more time so that I could try them all.
