If were getting technical, the order of the pictures is really a blowtorch and then sickness. Blowtorch...hmmmm...interesting. I took this picture this morning after breakfast and then I realized that there was a blowtorch right in the middle of it. Why do we have a blowtorch on our kitchen counter you may ask? To light candles of course. For some reason we have been using a blowtorch to light anything in our house (fire, candle). When I was out of town this past weekend Chance and the girls had a candlelight dinner with red wine (cranberry juice) and everything. The blowtorch stayed on the kitchen island. I know that's a big surprise for any of you that has been to our house. Please notice that there are 2 packages of band aids on the counter too. Just in case there would be an accident with...say...a blowtorch :)
This morning, life was good. Josie was coloring, Matilda was crying because Josie wouldn't let her color and there was a blowtorch on the counter. It all went down hill from there. Don't worry, our house didn't burn down or anything like that. As I walked in to pick up Josie from day care the teacher said, "I was just trying to call you. Josie just threw up outside." Not the words you want to hear from the teacher.
Poor Josie was laying on the ground inside moaning and feeling all together horrible. We packed up and headed home. I put her in the bath to clean up a little. As I was looking at her I noticed a few things. One, she was very still. This doesn't usually happen so I know she really wasn't feeling well. Two, she has amazing eyes. Most people notice Isabel's eyes (they are lovely too) but Josie's are an amazing greeny bluey color. I love them. So, I took a picture. The three pictures below are from her bath time. I love the way they turned out. They may be a little creepy but the details are pretty cool!
Enjoy the beautiful sick kid (notice, no blowtorch in the tub).

Alden and I just read your post. I was curious (since Alden was really just reading over my shoulder, without knowing what exactly I was reading) if he knew who I was reading about. He did. Which I think is cool.
I am so sorry Josie is sick. Yuck. Sick is yuck. Yeah, very un-Josie-like to be still. Ever. At all.
Love the blowtorch. It's really good to make sure you are using the most powerful tool available, for any job. Way to go, Chance!
Alden says: I don't know what a blowtorch is, but I think Dad has one. I think the part where Mom says "most powerful tool to use..." is a little sarcastic.
Hey - (both of us...) - we miss you guys!!!! (Jil, I'll write a real email soon, in response to your post on my blog.)
