Apple Picking

This is one of my favorite things to do this time of year. I think I love seeing food grow, and apple trees are so pretty when dripping with fruit. It was a beautiful (warm) fall day.
John and Mae getting the bags. We filled 3 smallish bags that held about 10 apples or 3 pounds.

Granny Smith's; great for pie, and old fashioned apple cake, and sour cream apple pie and......eating of course.

This picture cracks me up. The headless apple pickers.

We all ate a few apples that were already on the ground.
Happy girl with apple (and braids!!!).

The lone red apple. Thanks Apple Lane Farms for another great day.
