And, luckily, there is a birthday in the family today. Not as if I needed an excuse to make a cake, but it helps.

Thanks for the cake and the nice wishes. It was a great birthday, as much as it could be with Chance out of town and me going to Iowa with the team. I hope the cake was yummy.
The cake was really yummy; moist, chocolatey and perfectly sweet. There is still about 1/3 left. This was one BIG cake!
