Just a quick post about a dessert I made the other night for a pumpkin carving party we went to.
I used some of the huge Granny Smith apples we had picked a few weeks ago. The 'recipe' can be found here. As you can see, the caramel didn't set too well and sort of slid down the apples. They still tasted pretty dang good. A full size caramel apple is way too sweet, even for me, but these are just one bite. Perfect.
Can you imagine if a worm had done that? Yikes.

Warning, it is possible to eat more than one. Someone had to get rid of the really ugly ones, right?
