Sorry for the lack of pictures, but I'm too tired to upload them tonight. We were all off school today and it was very hot again. So we set up the slip'n'slide again and then brought out the inflatable pool. Even I got in.

As far as the fire situation goes, on our eastern side things are looking pretty good tonight despite the hot, dry and very windy conditions. They dumped a bunch of fire retardant on a ridge high up in the mountains and it appears to be holding (meaning so far the fire has not crossed this line). The western edge is much more dangerous as it is moving with the winds down from the mountains and west along the mountains. Lots of crews are in town fighting this fire with everything they've got. I heard there were 10 planes, 14 helicopters and 1,400 firefighters battling the fires. Pretty amazing to watch. I'll try to post some more info tomorrow along with pictures.
