3 Staples to the back of the head...who could it be....Isabel.
Yes - her first big injury. During a wild game of toysroom soccer/tackle Izzy's head hit the edge of the brick fireplace hearth and KaBoom. It spilt open. We went to the doctors office, luckily they stay open until 6:30pm, and they cleaned it and stapled it right then and there. The doctor said that numbing it would probably not help because she would have to get 3-4 shots in her head as well as the staples so she just stapled away. Izzy was a trooper. I can't imagine gashing my head open and then having someone staple it shut but she did it.

Eeewwww! Ick. Is her skull cracked? Did brains spill out? Was there a lot of blood, because in this house, heads really bleed. Eeewwwww!
Way to go Isabel. This is way cooler than casts and stitches.
Not as much blood as I would have thought. Everyone always says, "heads bleed". We had a fair amount, all though only a little got on the carpet. Nice job by Isabel. I hope no brains came out, I didn't check.
