We've still got 48 hours left of summer. That is both exciting (we're all ready) and sad (we like sleeping in). These pictures are from a bike ride we took a few weekends ago. Over the mountains there is a 5 mile road that was closed (to cars) due to bridge damage from heavy winter rains. We normally drive back to a lovely hike and swimming hole (see last year's trip), but this year we biked.
It was a perfect day for a bike ride. There were no cars at all. Hardly any other bikers.
The air was warm, the water was cool.
Mae was really cool.

Yesterday we got back from the 5th Annual High and Dry Bluegrass Festival and it was fabulous!
