what a difference a week makes

Last Tuesday we didn't have practice so I was able to pick up the girls and get home a little early. We try to make the most of those days and in keeping with that theory, we headed outside to play. It was Matilda's first real experience on the Play Structure. I am pretty sure she loved it. Every time she got to the bottom of the slide she asked for "more please". Keep in mind that she is only 14 months so when I say she "asked", I mean she did the sign language signs for "more" and "please".

That was then...this is now. I got home from Waco, TX, where I was sitting out in the sun by the pool, this morning to a snow storm. The first snow is always fun. The kids get excited to put on their hats, gloves, jackets and boots and go get cold. Today was no exception. Even Matilda was excited to see what all the excitement was about. Although she was also pretty excited to get back inside by the fire.
