As Wendy said, we had a great week of skiing and general merriment up in Keystone a few weeks ago for Spring Break. Here are a few pictures from the week.

Misc.
Grandpa Dave was with us for his birthday this year (YES, I know that was over a month ago). We celebrated with a wonderful cake from Candace along with lots of laughs and good times.
Over President's Day weekend (I'm getting closer, only a month away now) we headed up to the mountains for a few days. We were going to ski, but the snow wasn't great and one adult to three children ration isn't all that fun on the slopes. Instead we drove about 45 minutes to Glenwood Springs, CO to check out the Glenwood Hot Springs. It was so cool (or hot I should say).
It's this huge, ginormous, large, gigantic pool that is naturally heated from hot springs below. Then there is another pool which is only mildly large that is even hotter! I loved it. I could have stayed there all day. We hung out in the pool for a while then we dried off and walked around Glenwood Springs. We checked out their local library for a while and then found an ice cream shop. By that time, everyone was freezing and ready to go back for more hot springing!
We also did a little bit of sledding while we were up in the mountains. This was on a pile of snow that had been plowed off the parking lot at the condo. It was mainly frozen ice, so it wasnt' too soft of a landing. It was also about 12 degrees that day so the sledding didn't last too long. But it was fun while it lasted.

Keystone
A week or so after we got back, right before school started, we went up to Keystone for a long weekend. It was fabulous. It is still really hot here (90-100) so it was nice to have some cool mountain air for a change.
One night we took the gondola to the top of the mountain and ate at a Fondue restaurant. It was a lot of fun!
This is the local playground at the base of the mountain. I think I have a picture of these guys in this same pose for the past 4 years. I will have to look that up.
Since it was Olympics week, the girls created and practiced a Synchronized Swimming routine.Sunday, July 1, 2012
Keystone
We also spent a few days up in Keystone before heading out to NJ. What a fun place. We walked, we hiked, we swam (in the pool), we ate, we watched movies.

Keystone 2012
We went to Keystone last weekend for our annual ski weekend. Although it was great to have time off from school and be away from the house, it wasn't the ideal ski weekend we all hoped for. We headed up Wednesday after school and everything seemed to be going great. Sometime in the middle of the night, things took a turn for the worse. I got a stomach virus (which Tilly had about 6 days earlier) that wasn't fun. The girls were signed up for ski school and I was so excited to ski with Chance. Unfortunately that didn't happen. Chance, my mom and the girls headed to Arapahoe Basin with me at home lying on the couch. Bummer.
Tilly really wanted to try snowboarding so we signed her up for a lesson. Since it was a random Thursday there weren't a lot of people there so she got a private lesson. Her instructor said she has exceptional balance. She had a good time but decided to go back to skiing the next day. Since I wasn't there that day, there aren't many pictures.
The next day, I was feeling better, but Chance had to head home to go work. We decided to take the day off from skiing and just hang out around town. We went to The Ice Castles at Silverthorne. It was really cool.
We also did a little ice skating at the rink at Keystone Village. It is huge.
The sunset was amazing that night. I took a picture of Tilly standing in front of it, it didn't show up to well but it was such a cute picture of Tilly I put it on here anyway.
Here is the real picture of the sunset. Gorgeous!

November is back...
...Well at least for this post it is. I, like Wendy, am going to get my November pictures up this week (hopefully). Here are a few from Thanksgiving week. The girls have the whole week off of school so we went up to Keystone for 2 days. The ski resort was open but we didn't ski this week. We played outside, did a little swimming and just hung out. It was nice!

Keystone
A couple of days after we got home from NJ, we went up to Keystone for a short visit with Grandma Cindy & Grandpa Bart. It was so beautiful! We went on an amazing hike with the most gorgeous wildflowers.
